Harnessing the Power of Storytelling with The Moth
CACF and The Moth are happy to announce our sixth season of partnership in offering an opportunity for those serving AAPI communities to learn and hone the art of storytelling, and to harness the power of storytelling in advocacy. Sharing stories is an act of bravery and generosity; listening to others is an act of empathy and kindness.
Over the course of this workshop, participants will:
1) Explore the principles of Moth Storytelling
2) Reflect on personal experiences through a series of prompts
3) Identify one story they wish to tell
4) Craft a five-minute version of the story with the help of Moth instructors and each other
5) Learn to incorporate storytelling with advocacy
Stay tuned for updates about participating organizations and event photos after completion of the workshop series.
