Breaking Down Barriers: Immigrant Families & Early Childhood Education in New York City Community Briefing

CACF is holding a community briefing for the release of its newest report, Breaking Down Barriers: Immigrant Families and Early Childhood Education in New York City. This report focuses on Bangladeshi, Chinese, Dominican, Haitian, Korean and Russian communities of New York City. Important findings conclude that many of New York City's immigrant families are unable to take advantage of the benefits of early childhood education because of barriers preventing their access to these programs. Join us as we discuss this important issue with providers, advocates and policymakers.

ASAP reunion

The Asian American Student Advocacy Project (ASAP) is CACF's youth leadership program geared towards Asian Pacific American public high school students. The program aims to give students the tools and knowledge to advocate for positive school reform. Now in it's 4th year, ASAP students from previous years to present will unite to reflect on their experiences and celebrate their hard work and dedication.
